Malin Kundang was a healthy, dilligent, and strong boy. He usually went to sea to catch fish. After getting fish he would bring it to his mother, or sold the caught fish in the town.
One day, when Malin Kundang was sailing, he saw a merchant’s ship which was being raided by a small band of pirates. He helped the merchant. With his brave and power, Malin Kundang defeated the pirates. The merchant was so happy and thanked to him. In return the merchant asked Malin Kundang to sail with him. To get a better life, Malin Kundang agreed. He left his mother alone.
Many years later, Malin Kundang became wealthy. He had a huge ship and was helped by many ship crews loading trading goods. Perfectly he had a beautiful wife too. When he was sailing his trading journey, his ship landed on a beach near a small village. The villagers recognized him. The news ran fast in the town; “Malin Kundang has become rich and now he is here”.
An old woman ran to the beach to meet the new rich merchant. She was Malin Kundang’s mother. She wanted to hug him, released her sadness of being lonely after so long time. Unfortunately, when the mother came, Malin Kundang who was in front of his well-dressed wife and his ship crews denied meeting that old lonely woman. For three times her mother begged Malin Kundang and for three times he yelled at her. At last Malin Kundang said to her “Enough, old woman! I have never had a mother like you, a dirty and ugly woman!” After that he ordered his crews to set sail. He would leave the old mother again, but in that time, she was full of both sadness and angriness.
Finally, enraged, she cursed Malin Kundang that he would turn into a stone if he didn’t apologize. Malin Kundang just laughed and really set sail.
In the quiet sea, suddenly a thunderstorm came. His huge ship was wrecked and it was too late for Malin Kundang to apologize. He was thrown by the wave out of his ship. He fell on a small island. It was really too late for him to avoid his curse. Suddenly, he turned into a stone.

He also invited his good friend king Hubert to the feast. King Hubert had brought his young son Philip. The kings agreed that someday Philip and Aurora would be married.
Among the guest were three good fairies, Flora, Fauna, and Marryweather. They wished to bless the princess with a give. Waving her wand, Flora said, “ My gift shall be the gift of beauty.” “ And mine.” Said Fauna, “ Shall be the gift of song.”, Marryweather turn was next. But before the Marryweather could speak the castle door flew opened. It was the evil witch named Maleficent. She was furious because she had not been to the feast. “ My gift for the child is, before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday she shall prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die!” , Than she disappeared.But Marryweather still had gift to give, so she said, “ She will not die but she will fall into a deep sleep and when theirs true love’s kiss the spell shall break and the princess opened her eyes!”King Stevan feared the witch curse so the good fairies hatched a plan. They would take Aurora to live with them, deep in the woods, saved from Maleficent. The king and queen agreed with heavy heart.To guard their secret, the fairies changed Aurora’s named to Briar Rose. The years passed quietly, and Briar Rose grew into a beautiful young woman. At last the princess reached her sixteenth birthday, in a mossy glen she danced and sang with her friends, the birds and animals. She told them of her beautiful dream about meeting a tall. Handsome boy and falling in love.A handsome boy came. When he heard Briar Rose singing he jumped for his horse and reached out to take her hand. Briar Rose was startled. “ I do not mean to frighten you, but I feel like we have met before.” Said the youngman. Briar Rose felt very happy. But she didn’t know that he was prince Phillip and Prince Phillip didn’t know that she was Princess Aurora. Back at the cottage, Briar Rose told the fairies that she had falling in love. “ impossible! “ cried the fairies.Then, they told her that she was a royal princess. It was time to return home. Actually the witch Maleficent knew that Aurora was return home. Using her evil powers she lured Aurora to high tower in the tiny room spinning well suddenly appeared. “ Touch the spindle, touch it.''said the witch. The three good fairies rushed to the rescue, but they were too late. Aurora touched the sharp spindle and felt into deep sleep.Meanwhile, the witch captured Phillip and chain him deep on her dungeon. But the good fairies had other plans for him. They melted the prince’s chain. And they armed him with the shield of virtue and the sword of truth. Than they sent him to the castle to awaken the princess.When the witch saw Philip escaping she was changed into a Monstrous Dragon to stop him. Prince Phillip threw his sword to sword the witch. Then Maleficent was no more. Then Prince Phillip raced to the tower where his love lay sleeping. Gently he kissed her and Aurora eyes slowly opened. The kings and queens planed for the prince and princess wedding. And they lived happily.

Once upon a time there were two kingdoms that were the worst of neighbours. In one kingdom live folked with a vain and greedy king to ruke over them. For in the other kingdom, the Moors lived every manner of strange and wonderful creature. And they needed neither king nor queen but trusted in one another. There was a fairy-girl who protected the Moors. And her name was Maleficent.
Steffan and Maleficent became the most unlikely of friends. As it will friendship slowly turned into something else. And on her 16ᵗʰ birthday. Steffan gave Maleficent a gift. He told her it was a true love’s kiss. After all this time, Steffan’s ambition called him away. The king of the other kingdom wanted to killed Maleficent and the gift from the king was to be the next thing.The King : Attention to all of you. You did knew about the Moors. I want to take the Moors but there’s its guardian, Maleficent. Anyone who can kill Maleficent will be the next king changed me.
They spoke many things and the years faded away. And she forgave Steffan, his folly and his ambition. She gave Maleficent a beer and Maleficent slept.
Steffan be the next king after he cut the wings of Maleficent. But, Maleficent turned into a mad woman. The Moors became worst after Maleficent cursed it. Maleficent found an eagle was caught by a hunter.
A grand celebration in the other kingdom for a new-born baby. All of fairies invited except Maleficent. The fairies would give her gifts for a baby. A lot of people came to the kingdom. Maleficent and Diaval entered too.
Aurora went to the King. The King was busy. His ambition was to kill Maleficent. So, Aurora was placed in the secret room. Aurora was hypnotized by the voice from her room wall and walked to the hall full of spinning wheel. She put her finger and pricked it. She fall into sleep like death. Philip, the prince from the Naight entered to the castle.
Maleficent saw it and Philip kissed Aurora. But she didn’t wake up. Steffan got mad and sent Philip away. Maleficent and Diaval watched this sadly. And when Aurora alone in her room, they stoof by her bed. Maleficent apologized to Aurora and cried.
Aurora and Maleficent went from the castle, but they were caught by Steffan. Aurora ran to some place in the castle and she found Maleficent’s wings. Maleficent and Steffan were fought.
As Maleficent said, Steffan was lost by Maleficent. Steffan died. Aurora, Maleficent, and Diaval went to the Moors. The Moors returned to be a wonderful kingdom. The Fairies gave Aurora a beautiful flowers crown.
As we know the story end with happily ever after like the other fairytale. Maleficent and Diaval flying high over the Moors and through the cloods. It took one who has both a hero and a villain to make things right. And her name was Maleficent.
